The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Myanmar issues approval letters to travelers who wish to apply for a visa to enter Myanmar, and this application is processed manually in Naypyidaw, the new capital of Myanmar. However, to promote the tourism industry, the Ministry of Hotels and Tourism has made a special arrangement with Ministry of Foreign Affairs to allow the approval letter to be applied online. No trip to Myanmar embassy is required. Simply upload your photo and a scanned copy of your passport to get the approval letter.
Once approved, applicants will receive their approval letter by email, which is recognized by all airlines traveling inbound to Myanmar and provided that all your travel documents are in order, you should have no trouble boarding your flight to Myanmar. On arrival, the immigration officer will stamp the visa on your passport.

"The whole team at evisaasia.com was superb - the email communication was prompt and extremely polite and the on-the-ground support at immigration was seamless. I applied for my visa by email in New Zealand and received it by email just over a week later in Indonesia, printed it out in Malaysia and got into Myanmar without an issue. I thoroughly recommend evisaasia.com!" said Mengyi He, US.
